Warme temperaturen in aantocht en 270 km/u met de kap open in de laatste luchtgekoelde cabriolet van Porsche, noem het de perfecte zomerstorm.

Er is een reden dat de Porsche 993 op handen gedragen wordt door liefhebbers en puristen wereldwijd. We hebben het hier immers over een van de fijnste sportauto’s die de jaren negentig heeft voortgebracht. Bovendien is het de laatst luchtgekoelde iteratie van het sportwagenmerk. Zes cilinders in een 3,6 liter boxerconfiguratie, goed voor 286 pk, met de potentie om 270 km/u aan te tikken. Gecombineerd met de mogelijkheid om het dak naar achteren te laten klappen.

Deze Porsche 993 stamt uit 1995, waardoor de volgende eigenaar zich niet druk hoeft te maken over het dikwijls haperende alarmsysteem dat vanaf ’96 werd toegepast. De auto is in 2007 vanuit de VS naar Nederland gehaald, maar vrees niet: de Amerikaanse bumpers met stootkussens zijn keurig vervangen door Europese exemplaren.

Uiteraard is de historie aanwezig, inclusief Carfax rapport dat de US historie en kilometerstand bevestigt.

About this Collectable
Warm temperatures approaching and 270 km/h with the top down in Porsche's last air-cooled convertible, call it the perfect summer storm.

There is a reason why the Porsche 993 is loved by enthusiasts and purists worldwide. After all, we are talking about one of the finest sports cars produced in the 1990s. Besides, it is the last air-cooled iteration of the marque. Six cylinders in a 3.6 litre boxer configuration, delivering 286bhp and the potential to reach 270km/h. Combined with the possibility to fold down the roof.

This Porsche 993 dates from 1995, which means that the next owner does not have to worry about the often-failing alarm system that was used from '96 onwards. The car was brought from the US to the Netherlands in 2007, but no worries, the American bumpers have been neatly replaced with European ones.
