In 2007, the new generation of the Bentley Brooklands was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. This generation was built entirely by hand and the edition was limited to 550 pieces to guarantee exclusivity. The first copies were handed over to their new owners in early 2008.

At the time of the Brooklands' introduction, its V8 engine was the most powerful engine ever made by Bentley. The amount of torque has also never been found in a Bentley before.
