Beschrijving
Unusual 1973 Triumph Stag MK II, in the current owner's possession for 30 years, always very well maintained and properly serviced by mechanics specializing in the brand.
The vehicle is a lovely Inca Yellow color, which was repainted shortly after it was acquired and still has an intense shine to this day, although there are a few corrections to be made. The black mohair canvas soft top was also fitted at the same time as the paint job, purchased new and original from a reputable British company specializing in Triumph parts. It currently shows no signs of major wear and is completely watertight, with only a tiny nick in the mica glass of the soft top's left window.
In 2018, the engine was completely rebuilt, with new and original parts purchased from the same supplier as the soft top, solving some of the chronic problems of this 3.0 cc V8 Triumph engine with 145 hp, which tended to overheat and leak oil. These problems have now been completely solved, offering a smooth ride and the driver the chance to enjoy the impressive sound of this engine.
The car has less than 40.000 kms on the clock, having covered around 10,000 kms in the last 30 years in the hands of the current owner, most of which was carried out more recently and in 2022 a major overhaul was carried out with a change of all the fluids and the braking system.
In 2024, four new 185/HR 14 tires were fitted to the beautiful alloy wheels of the time.
This car is certified as a vehicle of historical interest by a Portuguese competent entity recognized by the F.I.V.A. (Fédération International des Véhicules Anciens)
