Deze originele Ford Mustang GT uit 1965 is een zeldzaam icoon in zeer goede staat, afkomstig uit zonnig Californië en maar liefst 30 jaar in bezit geweest van de laatste eigenaar. De auto is uitvoerig en met liefde gerestaureerd naar originele fabriekspecificaties, met fotoreportage, facturen én originele aankoopfactuur als bewijs. Onder de motorkap ligt de krachtige A-code “Challenger Special” 225 pk V8 met 4-venturi carburateur en verzwaarde klepstoters, gekoppeld aan een soepel schakelende 3-traps Cruise-O-Matic automaat. Als GT beschikt deze Mustang over diverse extra’s zoals schijfremmen voor, sportievere vering, directe besturing en een dubbel uitlaatsysteem met verchroomde eindstukken – alles gericht op sportiviteit én beleving.

Het uiterlijk van deze Mustang is een lust voor het oog. De carrosserie is gespoten in zeldzame Sauterne Gold Metallic, perfect gecombineerd met een kunstlederen dak in zwart. Langs de flanken loopt de karakteristieke GT-striping, en op de voorspatborden prijken de originele GT-emblemen. De grille wordt gesierd door twee heldere 10 cm mistlampen – een kenmerkend GT-detail. Binnenin gaat de luxe verder met het Ivy Gold/White Pony-interieur, compleet met imitatiehouten stuurwiel, middenconsole, Rally Pack tellers, AM-radio met 8-track stereo en originele Ford airconditioning. Ramen met rondom groen getint veiligheidsglas en talloze extra's maken dit tot een waar collectors item.

This original Ford Mustang GT from 1965 is a rare icon in very good condition, originating from sunny California and owned by the last owner for no less than 30 years. The car has been extensively and lovingly restored to original factory specifications, with photo report, invoices and original purchase invoice as proof. Under the hood is the powerful A-code “Challenger Special” 225 hp V8 with 4-venturi carburetor and reinforced valve lifters, coupled with a smooth-shifting 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. As a GT, this Mustang has various extras such as front disc brakes, sportier suspension, direct steering and a dual exhaust system with chromed tailpipes - all aimed at sportiness and experience.

The appearance of this Mustang is a feast for the eyes. The body is sprayed in rare Sauterne Gold Metallic, perfectly combined with a black leatherette roof. The characteristic GT striping runs along the sides, and the original GT emblems adorn the front fenders. The grille is adorned with two clear 10 cm fog lamps - a characteristic GT detail. Inside, the luxury continues with the Ivy Gold / White Pony interior, complete with imitation wood steering wheel, center console, Rally Pack counters, AM radio with 8-track stereo and original Ford air conditioning. Windows with green tinted safety glass all around and numerous extras make this a true collector's item.
