Origineel Duits geleverde BMW M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology) van de tweede eigenaar, nummer 22 van slechts 67 gebouwde productiemodellen wereldwijd. Eén van de meest exclusieve en zeldzame M-modellen ooit gebouwd door BMW M! Volledig eerste lak, origineel slechts 22.000 kilometer op de teller en vanbinnen en buiten in absolute nieuwstaat.

De M3 CRT is gebaseerd op de E90 M3 Sedan, maar voorzien van de aandrijflijn uit de E92 M3 GTS: een 4.4 liter hoogtoerige V8 met 450 pk en 440 Nm, gekoppeld aan de 7-traps M-DCT met Launch Control. De sprint naar 100 km/u gaat in slechts 4,4 seconden. Dankzij het gebruik van Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) op onder andere de motorkap, splitter, achterspoiler, kuipstoelen en scheidingswand, weegt de CRT 45 kg minder dan een reguliere M3 en heeft hij een verbeterde gewichtsverdeling van 51,6% voor en 48,4% achter.

Alle 67 klantmodellen kregen een unieke genummerde plaquette (“M3 CRT XX”) op het dashboard; daarnaast bouwde BMW één preproductiemodel (nummer “00”) dat eigendom is gebleven van BMW M. Slechts 5 exemplaren werden geleverd in rechtsgestuurde configuratie; de overige 62, inclusief deze CRT, zijn linksgestuurd.

Dit exemplaar is uitgevoerd in de exclusieve kleur Frozen Polar Silver Metallic met Melbourne Red Metallic accenten op onder andere de grilleomlijsting, luchtinlaten, achterspoiler en voorlip. De 19 inch matte zwarte 359M-velgen en het carbon aerodynamicapakket onderstrepen het unieke karakter. Het interieur is uitgevoerd in Black Novillo leder met Sakhir Orange accenten en stiknaden, carbon kuipstoelen, aluminium interieurpanelen en een alcantara M-sportstuur met tricolore stiksel.

Standaarduitrusting omvat met Navigatie Professional, BMW Individual High-End audiosysteem, titanium sportuitlaat, speciale achterbank met vaste carbon scheidingswand en Launch Control. Met een officieel leeggewicht van slechts 1.580 kg en een indrukwekkende vermogens-gewichtsverhouding van 3,5 kg per pk is de CRT niet alleen een collector’s item, maar ook een rijdersauto pur sang.

Originally German-delivered BMW M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology) from the second owner, number 22 of just 67 production units built worldwide. One of the most exclusive and rare M models ever created by BMW M! Fully in first paint, with only 22,000 original kilometers and in absolute like-new condition inside and out.

The M3 CRT is based on the E90 M3 Sedan, but equipped with the powertrain from the E92 M3 GTS: a 4.4-liter high-revving V8 producing 450 hp and 440 Nm, mated to the 7-speed M-DCT with Launch Control. The sprint to 100 km/h takes just 4.4 seconds. Thanks to the extensive use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) on the hood, front splitter, rear spoiler, bucket seats, and rear bulkhead, the CRT is 45 kg lighter than a standard M3 and features an improved weight distribution of 51.6% front and 48.4% rear.

All 67 customer cars were fitted with a unique numbered plaque (“M3 CRT XX”) on the dashboard; in addition, BMW produced one pre-production unit (number “00”) that remains in the possession of BMW M. Only 5 were built in right-hand drive; the remaining 62, including this CRT, are left-hand drive.

This example is finished in the exclusive Frozen Polar Silver Metallic with Melbourne Red Metallic accents on the kidney grille surround, air intakes, rear spoiler, and front lip. It sits on 19-inch matte black 359M wheels and features the full carbon aerodynamic package. The interior is trimmed in Black Novillo leather with Sakhir Orange accents and stitching, carbon fiber bucket seats, aluminum interior trim, and an Alcantara M sport steering wheel with tricolored stitching.

Standard equipment includes Navigation Professional, BMW Individual High-End audio system, titanium sports exhaust, a special rear bench with a fixed carbon partition, and Launch Control.
