Bijzondere Subaru Legacy 3.0 (H6 motor) in STI uitvoering. Het is geen originele STI, daar zijn er maar 600 van op de markt gebracht. Deze Legacy 3.0R is zonder turbo en heeft 245PK. Dankzij een RVS uitlaat klinkt deze Subaru geweldig. De motorkap is niet origineel. De originele STI heeft een 2.5 turbomotor en dus een luchtinlaat in de motorkap. Bij deze Legacy is er een motorkap van een 2.5 turbo geplaatst. Ook zijn er velgen gemonteerd welke sprekend lijken op de originele STI velgen. De Pirelli P Zero banden zijn in zeer goede staat. Verder is er een sportstuur en een STI pookknop gemonteerd om het geheel compleet te maken. Deze Subaru is het facelift model waardoor het middenconsole mooi zwart is. Het schakelen met de flippers werkt perfect en vlot.

Wat deze Subaru geweldig maakt is het SI drive systeem. Er is een sport stand en een sport-sharp stand. In deze stand lijkt deze Subaru wel een rallyauto. Deze Subaru is het facelift model waardoor het middenconsole mooi zwart is.

Kortom een geweldige rijdersauto ..

Er zijn ook een aantal minpunten en met het bepalen van de prijs is hier rekening mee gehouden. De Subaru heeft hier en daar wat krasjes en steenslag en de lak is links achter niet mooi. Verder doet de geluidsinstallatie aan een kant maar voor een deel. Als je harder dan 100 rijdt hoor je wat windgeruis bij het glazen dak. Schuif je het stoffen gedeelte eronder dicht hoor je het vrijwel niet. Het klepje van de 12-volt-aansluiting sluit niet. De blowers in het midden werken niet goed. Het dashboardkastje sluit niet optimaal. Een handgreep links achter zit niet helemaal goed. De stekker bij de trekhaak werkt niet goed, er is een nieuwe aanwezig.

A special Subaru Legacy 3.0 (H6 engine) in STI styling. It is not an original STI—only about 600 of those were ever released. This Legacy 3.0R is naturally aspirated (no turbo) and produces 245 HP. Thanks to a stainless-steel exhaust, this Subaru sounds fantastic. The hood is not original. The real STI has a 2.5 turbo engine and therefore an air intake on the hood. This Legacy has been fitted with a hood from a 2.5 turbo model. The wheels also closely resemble the original STI wheels. The Pirelli P Zero tyres are in very good condition. A sports steering wheel and STI gear knob have been installed to complete the look. This Subaru is the facelift model, which means the centre console is a nice glossy black. Shifting with the paddles works smoothly and perfectly.
What makes this Subaru great is the SI-Drive system. There is a Sport mode and a Sport Sharp mode. In this setting, the car practically feels like a rally car. Being the facelift model, it also has the nicer black centre console.
All in all, an amazing driver’s car…
There are also a few downsides, and the price has been adjusted accordingly. The Subaru has some scratches and stone chips here and there, and the paintwork on the left rear side isn’t great. The audio system only works partially on one side. Above 100 km/h you can hear some wind noise from the glass roof; if you slide the fabric cover closed you hardly notice it. The cover of the 12-volt socket doesn’t close. The centre air vents don’t work properly. The glovebox doesn’t close perfectly. One of the rear left grab handles isn’t fitted correctly. The plug for the towbar wiring doesn’t work, but a new one is included.
