I’m offering for sale my private Mercedes Benz SL 55AMG car with factory power of 517 PS.
The car was manufactured on May 2006, i.e. MOPF1, which makes it a very rare model. Model year 2007.
Deprived of the vast majority of defects of the R230 models from the first years of production. It has a low-problem second generation ABC suspension, an SBC pump and a BCM module (parts improved by MB).
A car in a great and rare configuration (black/beige) with the legendary M113k engine - the last MB with a compressor.
Vehicle equipment compatible with VIN + additionally installed reversing camera, radar detector and an advanced Pioneer infotainment system unit with access to wireless Apple CarPlay.
The car has been professionally modified to increase power.
Scope of work:
- remap of the control unit (ECU upgrade)
- changing the compressor pulley (crankshaft pulley)
- larger filters (airbox intake)
- stage 2 cooling kit (including pump, heat exchanger, reservoir and split cooling kit)
I have had the car for two years. It has been fully serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations (replacement of all oils and filters, including the compressor, as well as radiator and brake fluids).
In 2023, the oil and filter in the gearbox were replaced, as well as all seals as a preventive measure. The alternator was also replaced (new, not regenerated). New Falken summer tires (fantastic quality) were also purchased. Also serviced by the previous owner.
The car has 19" OZ Racing Superturismo rims.
The panoramic glass roof works flawlessly.
The car is in excellent technical and aesthetic condition considering its age and mileage. It drives smoothly and sounds great.
The equipment is fully functional. The vehicle is garaged and ready to drive.
The car had a minor road collision (running into the rear of the vehicle in front). The bumper and grill were damaged, the hood was scratched and the lamp mounts were broken). Photos available for viewing. The airbags were not deployed.
The hood was repainted and a new original bumper was purchased (not easy to get for MOPF1). The rest of the vehicle has factory paint. Hard wax was applied to the car.
Car is registered and garaged in Poland.
